Promoting a new Rotary Club

Who are the Provisional Rotaract Club of Bremer & Beyond? We are a newly budding group of young adults looking to make a difference within the community we live in.

We are an Ipswich-based club formed and supported by both of our sponsor clubs within Rotary known as The Greater Springfield Rotary Club and The Ipswich City (CBD) Rotary Club.

We currently consist of approximately 7 to 9 recurring members and acknowledge our additional members within the club who can come when able to due to busy schedules.

We are excited to see the consistent progression we have had slowly but surely over the last eight months and cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.

We thrive off the volunteering opportunities we have had from both of our sponsor clubs and other surrounding supporting clubs and are thirsty for more volunteering opportunities.

Rotaract, especially our club, isn’t all just about hard work and giving back – it is also about having fun, building relationships and making memories along the way. We also have social gatherings once a month where we can kick back and put our feet up. Some of our social gatherings include lots of food and coffee (because who doesn’t like either or both), bowling and board games to name a few. For our social events this year it is looking more exciting than ever.

We have a small board at the moment that helps ensure the progression of the chartering of the club so we are able to do more for the community. Our board members are extremely passionate and are known as Kate, Sam and Carmen.

We would love to see you at our next meeting at Yamanto Tavern on Monday evenings (fortnightly), our next being March 11. Hope to see you there, but in the meantime don’t forget to check us out on our social media platforms simply by searching our name.
