Moeys Butcher and Grill in Springfield Lakes has been named Brisbane’s Best Butcher in the Triple M “Best of Brisbane” competition.
The competition highlights all of the best Brisbane businesses, with winners receiving an advertisement created by Triple M producers.
Owner Moey Altaaf Sharif started the business only three years ago and has seen constant growth thanks to what he considers “some of the best cuts in Brisbane”.
“After travelling overseas, tasting the quality of meat and finding out they sourced it from Australia, I knew I find those suppliers,” he said.
“We have been bidding with exporters to get export-grade black angus, which is what we pride ourselves on.”
Moey believes the pride that he and his staff have in providing top-quality cuts is the reason for their competition win.
“From day one we’ve just put in so much work to get up to where we are,” he said.
“The amount of effort that we’ve put in and the work from the boys has been amazing.”
The competition win is a proud moment for Moey and his staff.
“I just want to thank all the people of Brisbane for voting for us,” he said.
“We are truly grateful, and we will continue to improve and exceed our quality, customer service and product offerings.”
