Dust off your Jane Fonda aerobics VHS, don your denim-on-denim ensemble and get ready to relive the glory days of the 80s at Mo-Men’s Trivia Night on April 19 at the Springlake Hotel.
Embracing the nostalgic charm of the 1980s, the event promises a trip down memory lane for attendees of all ages.
Founding member of the Mo-Men Paul Kirwan promises a fun event filled with laughs and a bit of competition.
“We just want everyone to come down, put some spray in their hair and live like it’s the 80s,” he said.
“Times have been pretty tough for everyone the last few months, and we wanted a night where you can chat and laugh for a couple of hours.”
Courtesy of Quizzame, participants will test their knowledge on everything from music to pop culture, all while decked out in their finest 80s attire.
“It’s a lot different to the normal trivia with a pen and paper,” Paul said.
“Quizzame supply buzzers and you can earn more points for picking the correct answer the fastest and all the scores are on a screen that everyone can see. It adds a whole new layer to the standard trivia night.”
Whether you’re a seasoned trivia buff or just looking for a fun night out, Mo-Men’s 80’s Trivia Night has something for everyone.
“We obviously have the trivia, but we’ve also got little games to play between the questions and some raffles and giveaways on the night,” Paul said.
With tickets priced at $40 per person, including a light buffet dinner, attendees can enjoy a night of entertainment while supporting a worthy cause.
