We have a beautiful community in Jordan, and I’ve always wanted to support that.
As my children grew up, I was heavily involved in my community. I volunteered across many organisations, including as a junior football coach, on the Richlands East Primary PNC and with the Rural Fire Brigade.
In my professional career, I have spent over two decades as a Line Haul driver. Every week, I see accidents along the Bruce Highway, a road that Labor has allowed to become one of the most dangerous in Australia. Almost 1 in 5 national road deaths occur on the Bruce Highway.
Keeping our community safe is government’s first task and this Labor government has failed.
Locally, I also hear from people in Jordan frustrated by the Labor Government’s neglect of infrastructure in our rapidly growing community. We are taking a huge amount of housing, but
Labor isn’t providing the community infrastructure to go with it.
After a decade of Labor’s failures, it’s time for a change. The only way to address these challenges is to change the government in October.
I’m running to earn my community’s trust and show I’m ready to be part of a government with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future.
