A 46-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing incident in Goodna on Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 10:20 PM on Caldwell Street, where an altercation broke out between two men.
During the conflict, a 42-year-old man from One Mile sustained stab wounds to his neck and leg.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Police arrived at the scene and apprehended the alleged attacker, a resident of Goodna.
He has been charged with one count of acts intended to maim, disfigure, or disable.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday, August 5.
Authorities report that the two men involved in the incident are known to each other.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
