Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a man captured on CCTV who may hold vital information regarding an armed robbery on May 8 in Augustine Heights.
The robbery took place shortly before 5:30 a.m. at a business located on Augusta Parkway.
A male suspect, wearing a face covering and wielding a knife, entered the premises and threatened the attendant before making off with the cash register.
The employee complied with the demands and was unharmed during the encounter.
The suspect fled the scene on foot through the business entrance and was last seen near Ignatius Street.
QPS have released CCTV footage of the suspect in hopes that someone may recognise him and provide critical information that could assist in the investigation.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen the man, or who possesses dashcam footage from the vicinity of Augusta Parkway and Ignatius Street around the time of the robbery, to come forward.
