Construction of new commercial site The Zones is now complete, with Springfield City Group announcing another development will follow suit.
The Zones, located along Success Circuit in Augustine Heights, features 22 strata-titled units for mixed use.
These include retail, office, warehouses, and hybrid office-warehouse units – as well as a café and a gym.
All but three of the units have already been sold, showcasing the demand from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Springfield city area.
Springfield City Group (SCG) has now announced plans for a new neighbouring development that will feature 18 to 20 units – the fourth such multi-level strata (mixed ownership) project in the vicinity.
SCG Springfield Project Partners director Sean Ranchigoda said SMEs were finding Springfield an ideal area for commercial premises.
“There is increasing demand for units that can be purchased by small and medium businesses who understand the benefits of this area,” Mr Ranchigoda said.
“These projects are being developed consistently to meet the demand in this area.
“The demand continues to come mostly from local buyers who want to purchase over leasing.
“Our next development will cater for requests from potential buyers with more warehouse options along with office space and other uses.”
Success Circuit is bound by Technology Drive and Gateway Drive, offering The Zones businesses three-street frontage.
It is part of a technology hub off Augusta Parkway that includes a vet, ambulance station, and soon-to-be-built fire station.
